Because of difficulties experienced in obtaining a signal to enable use of the facility to obtain money, pay bills, etc., the Post Office has agreed to move the mobile van from The Bells car park to the centre of the village, where the post office used to operate. After a trial, no problems were encountered in obtaining a signal, and this arrangement will now be permanent. The times remain unchanged as below.
Mondays: 9.00 am - 10.30 am
Tuesdays: 11.00 am - 12.00 pm
Wednesdays: 12.30 pm - 1.30 pm
Thursdays: No service
Fridays: 9.00am - 10.00am
Saturdays: No Service
Sundays: No service
The vehicle is accessible by those with disabilities and by wheelchair users.
The standard range of services will be available. Customers can collect benefits in cash using the banking service or Post Office card account.
